Rolling Code and Inversion Scramblers
Rolling Code Scrambler
DESCRIPTION
TVS-2 series of tactical high-security rolling code scramblers offers protection against even determined listeners. By using true frequency hopping rather than frequency sweeping, Midian's TVS-2 offers higher security than competitive rolling code scramblers. While competitive rolling code scramblers claim up to 1,000 hops per second, each of these hops are only a cycle or two in length. Midian's TVS-2 hops 6 to 12 times per second in standard mode and 13 to 25 times per second in advanced mode. Each hop is several hundred cycles in length.
The TVS-2 Series and Midian's CAD-300 Computer-Aided Dispatch also offer features such as Over-The-Air-Reprogramming (OTAR) of the primary security code, Deadbeat Disable, selective calling, spy, ANI, and Emergency ANI using Midian's Kryptic signaling format. APPLICATIONS
Midian's scramblers are ideal for government (i.e. military), public safety, fleets (i.e. taxi, towing, fishing) and private use. INSTALLATION
MOT-TVS-2-PRO plugs into most Motorola Professional Series portable and mobile radios. This includes the Asian GP and GM series, the North American HT and CDM series, the Latin American PRO series, and the European GP series. Also plugs into the MPT and EFJ's LTR trunked radios.
The TVS-2 does not require any modifications to the repeater and have no effect on the range of the radio. Midian's voice scramblers are well known in the industry as offering the best audio quality and speaker recognition.

Rolling Code Scrambler
DESCRIPTION
Midian's VPU series of inversion scramblers protect your voice communications against casual listeners. By mixing the frequency of the voice with an inversion tone in a balanced modulator, sum and difference frequencies are created. A low-pass filter eliminates the sum and the difference is transmitted as "inverted voice". The "inverted voice" undergoes an identical process on the receiving end that reconstructs the voice. Midian's VPU series scramblers are available in simplex, half-duplex, or full-duplex operation.
Midian's MOT-VPU-PRO is compatible with inversion scramblers from Motorola, MX-Com, Transcrypt, and Selectone.
