Motorola Radius M130
Mobile Radio
Specifications
THE RAPIDCALL SIGNALLING
ADVANTAGE
The M130 features MDC-1200 - one of Motorola's more advanced
RapidCall Signalling formats. The various components of MDC-1200
listed below provide dispatchers the advantage: of maintaining
control over their M130 field mobile operators.
PUSH-TO-TALK
IDENTIFICATION (PTT ID)
Each M130 can be assigned a PTT ID that is unique within your
organization. This allows a dispatcher to identify transmitting
radios and monitor air-time usage, curtailing radio abuse.
VOICE SELECTIVE CALL
DECODE
When a dispatcher attempts to reach the operator of the M130, it
will emit alert tones followed by a voice message from the
caller, similar to a voice pager.
CALL ALERT DECODE
This feature allows a dispatcher to replace repetitive
voice inquiries to: field radio operators with tone paging. When
a dispatcher attempts to reach an M130, tone and LED alerts
persist until deactivated by the radio operator. Once Call Alert
reaches the M130, the dispatcher gets acknowledgment that the
call was received.
HORN & LIGHTS
CAPABILITY
In applications where the operator is frequently out of the
vehicle at a job site or customer location, the M130 can be
configured to activate a vehicle's horn and headlights when a
Call Alert Decode is received.
